The town of Kutina is part of a beautiful region of central Croatia known as Moslavina.
Moslavina offers many reasons to visit. From stunning natural landscapes that take your breath away, to rare and native plant and animal species.
One of the region’s highlights is the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Snow, a Baroque masterpiece from the 18th century, known for its rich stucco decorations and frescoes. The Moslavina Museum showcases the area's rich history, while several preserved wooden houses ("čardaks") in Crkvena Street offer a glimpse into traditional wooden architecture from the 19th and 20th centuries.
A true symbol of Moslavina is its traditional local wine, Škrlet, which can be sampled at the local Wine Hall (Vinski dvor). Škrlet is a clear, light yellow wine made from healthy, ripe, locally grown grapes.
Among the region's natural treasures, the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park stands out. A home to unique native species, such as the Croatian Posavac horse breed.
