Afrata is next to Kolymvari, a fast growing area in Chania where you can visit Odigitria Monastery (Gonia), one of the most popular Monasteries on Crete. Plantanias and Agia Marina, both famous for the night life they offer during summer season are just a few minutes away. Chania Town where you can enjoy some coffee at the Venetian Harbor. Afrata is the perfect location for planning short trips to Falassarna, Balos, Elafonissi and other major places of interest.
