The stone-built Theano Guesthouse is centrally located in the scenic Hydra Island, within a 10-minutes’ walk from the port. It features a furnished courtyard with stone-paved alleys and colourful flowers and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Decorated in bright colours rooms of Theano are equipped with heating and a TV. Each unit includes a modern bathroom with shower or a bathtub and free toiletries. A hairdryer is available upon request. Guests can start their day with a continental breakfast served daily at the dining area or at the courtyard. Restaurants, bars and mini markets can be found within a short walk from the property. Theano Guesthouse lies within 700 metres from Spilia Beach and within 2 km from the pebbled Vlychos Beach. The Historical Archives Museum of Hydra is 1.5 km away, while at 100 metres you can visit the School of Fine Arts. The house that Leonard Cohen used to live lies within a 2-minute walk. Transfer of luggage and guests with a donkey from/to the port is upon charge and request. Guests who wish to use the service, must inform the property at least one day prior to arrival.
Guests staying more than 3 nights are offered free transfer upon arrival only from the port to the property, with a donkey. Guests who want to use the service, must inform the property at least one day prior to arrival.
To reach the property, please turn left at the church located at the port. Continue straight until you reach the hospital. Take a right turn in the first alleyway and continue straight until you reach the steps, where you turn left and keep straight until you reach the property.
Please note that the property is not easily accessible to people with mobility issues and for babies under 2 years of age, due to a high number of steps.
