In the heart of beautiful Skiathos, in Megalo Kalderimi, which was so praised by Alexandros Papadiamantis, are the Raphael houses. Built in 1918, they were restored in 2019 with respect to their original structure and guided by island architecture. The diffused natural light, the white color and the wood compose the ideal space for idyllic holidays with a sense of intimacy and comfort. * The house has a fan cooling system, which is advanced technology and agrees with the ecological identity of the house. ** Note that the car can be parked in front of the house to be serviced but parking is not allowed as the road is reserved. The public car park is 150 meters away.
We are grateful that we managed to get the holiday home of our dreams on the island, that we will spend our summers carefree, we will live new experiences and we will be filled with positive energy. Always having this perspective in mind, we want through our hospitality to feel the magic of the holidays on our island and one day to call it "our Skiathos".
Megalo Kalderimi crosses our neighborhood, one of the oldest traditional neighborhoods of Skiathos. Guests can enjoy their walk in the small alleys and especially in the area of ​​Plakes where the sea view is magnificent.Also at a distance of 3 minutes is the beach Kochili where the neighbors swim every day. In 1 minute another traditional cobbled path leads to the church of Panagia of Limnia and from there in a few minutes the view of the old port from above is breathtaking.Continuing the walk you can find the Old Port with its famous bars, traditional taverns, restaurants and cafes. The boats of local fishermen complete the beautiful landscape.
