Hey! We are Marina & Yannis I (Marina) was born and raised in Athens. I started my Airbnb journey in 2017. Before that, I worked for over 15 years as a manager in a video club/DVD store — movies are still my passion! My rental apartments are located near the Athens International Airport. Most of my guests stay just for one night, which means a lot of work, but I get to meet new people every day — and I love that! Many of them have now become friends. I also love dogs, traveling, and decorating. Yannis was born and raised on the greenest island in Greece — Corfu. He’s been living in Athens for the past 8 years. He has two adult children who now live in Australia. Yannis is a shotgun athlete, a nature lover, and passionate about motorbikes, fishing, cooking, and fixing things. His dream is to someday settle permanently in Corfu, in a house with a big yard, chickens, and a vegetable garden. We met in 2019 and have been a couple ever since. With a lot of personal work and care, we renovated the Corfu apartments that Yannis’ family built back in 1986 — and in 2022, we began sharing them with guests. Every year we travel as much as we can, bringing back fresh ideas to make our rentals better and offer a more enjoyable experience. In just the last two years, we’ve visited Singapore, Perth, Australia, Bali, Turkey, Germany, Slovakia, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Phuket, and Shanghai. We are truly dedicated to hosting and committed to giving our best to each guest. Our goal is to build a family-run business with the feeling of 5-star hospitality — warm, personal, and full of care.
