"House Gecko" is situated on the outskirts of Agios Lavrentios village. Here privacy and calmness are ensured. Another benefit of the location is that road access and car parking are available. This is not common in the rest of the village since most of it has pedestrian access only. Village center is a magnificent 10 min walk through the picturesque stone pathways typical in Pelion. Most of the village is car-free so you can enjoy quiet walks in its’ stone paved paths and admire the nature of Pelion mountain. The village is quiet and unspoiled. The central square of the village includes all necessary amenities: groceries, taverns, cafe, Bar, pizzeria, bakery and pastry shop. For those fond of the sea, the winding road that connects the village to the coast is a 14 km picturesque drive within a huge olive grove towards the coastal village of Agria. If adventure and exploration is your thing, there is a wealth of experiences to be found within a 45 min drive radius which offer anything from mountain hiking, local cuisine tasting, to swimming in the Aegean sea and more. We can give you tips for small or bigger excursions, just ask!
