Paradisi is a small traditional village and has all the amenities you need for your holiday such as supermarkets, fresh fruit and vegetable stands, small taverns and cafes, bakeries, pharmacies and rental companies. There are public buses with frequent routes to Rhodes town which is only 15km away. The pebbly Paradisi Beach is also a short drive away. The locals are very friendly and sociable. The Strawberry festival in May as well as the celebration of Agia Marina in mid-July is a unique experience of a local festival with Greek hospitality and a program of traditional dances. Nearby destinations are Butterly Valley and a small petting zoo. Ancient Kameiros is 17km away where you can enjoy fresh fish. There is also a small port from which daily boats leave for Halki Island. Helena Apartments has quick access to the island's national road which makes it easy to travel to Faliraki, Tsampika and the town of Lindos on the southeast side of the island.
