The house is ideal for families and couples.A unique traditional house,with short strokes of modern comforts. It combining the traditonal stone element with a modern view.The house consists of one family room and one double room,two bathrooms, a livingroom with a kitchen and one independent room where you can find a hydromassage- jacuzzi. NOTE:The bedrooms are not next to each other,they are not adjoining rooms. The first bedroom is on the upper level of the house and the second on the lower.(check the photos please.) Air- condition is also available in whole house.The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare breakfast, dinner, and coffee at your convenience.The house features a 150 sq.m. garden-yard with a forest view, offering a serene space to relax. The unique forest and mountain view invites you to enjoy your meal, breakfast, or a glass of wine in a quiet setting. The yard also provides space for your children to play.Please ensure their safety by keeping them under your supervision.A large part of the yard is covered with artificial grass, and there’s a gas barbecue grill along, with comfortable chairs and furnitures. The outdoor yard is private and protected by a wooden fence, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers.Please note that there is an outdoor staircase (with ten steps) that provides private access to the house and an indoor wooden staircase(also with ten steps) leading you to one of the bedrooms. A baby bed and a high chair are available upon request (please inform us in advance). Finally, there is free parking in front of the building.

Kanevos is a beautiful mountain village in the south of Rethymno and 12 minutes from famous Plakias with a car!Combines mountain,forest,taverns and beaches all in a matter of minutes!In our village,we have a little mini market and one of the most famous Cretan tavern in the area,just two minutes from your home.Also, there is a very unique forest to the opposite side of village for hiking and exploration! - Plakias village is just a 10-minute drive from the house and is the most famous place nearby. In Plakias, you’ll find banks, medical centers, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and beach bars. The restaurants and shops offer a variety of traditional Cretan products. - Myrthios village, located just 6 minutes from Kanevos, is a panoramic area with many taverns, mini markets, shops, and beautiful views. - Spili village is a picturesque and unique place to visit, just 15 minutes from the house. Here, you can enjoy great food or have coffee in the central square, with views of the springs and the mountain top. - One of the main advantages of the house is its easy access to some of the most famous places, beaches, and taverns in South Rethymno, all within approximately 15 minutes. Notable spots include Plakias, Schinaria, Preveli, Damnoni, Korakas, Kalypso, Ammoudaki, Peristeres, Souda beach, and many more. Some well-known taverns and restaurants include Mariou, Plateia, Damnoni, Dionysos, Iliomanolis, Kri Kri, and Sirocco,Cretan Aroma. - The house is conveniently located, with easy access to the capital city of Rethymno, just about 20 minutes away. All of the above places offer a variety of restaurants with great food, beaches, sightseeing opportunities, and plenty of activities such as scuba diving and horse riding. - Nature lovers can easily visit the beautiful canyons of the region, such as Kotsifou and Kourtaliotis.
