They’re WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY THROUGHOUT and also perfectly suited to anyone with difficulty walking or a problem with stairs or who needs a central location! We’re set back from the road offering a quiet location, centrally located with bars, restaurants, pool & pool bars, supermarket, car rental & excursion companies close by. Kefalos is a beautiful village on the island of Kos, 42 km away from Kos town and 13 km away from Kos International Airport "Hippocrates" Kefalos is separated into two parts, the traditional village on the hilltop and the waterfront and harbour, Kamari Bay. Opposite Kamari Bay is the small island of Kastri with the church of St. Nicholas, one of the most photographed and iconic landmarks in Greece. Kefalos village has many different architectures and houses squeezed along narrow streets, alongside traditional coffee houses and shops Kamari Bay is the seaside and harbour of Kefalos. There are many traditional tavernas and bars offering entertainment to suit everyone, from Open Mike nights to traditional Greek nights. The bay also has shops and supermarkets to explore Kefalos is famous not only for its beautiful beaches, but also it significant archaeological interest and historical value. The Castle of Kefalos and Early Christian churches at St. Stephen are only some of the area’s findings SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE……
