Casa Irini has two bedrooms, the first bedroom has a double bed, the second a bunk bed, living room, bathroom, kitchen equipped with the necessary appliances and a terrace with a view of the mountain and the city. The property is 26 km. from the Archaeological Museum of Rethymno and 33 km. from the Museum of Ancient Eleftherna. The nearest airport is Chania International Airport, at a distance of 94 km. Casa Irini is 50 meters from the village square, "the lion fountain", with the centuries-old plane trees and the 25 fountains in the form of lion's heads that pour drinking water from their mouths. Around the head fountain there are taverns with genuine Cretan cuisine, quaint cafes and folk art shops. One of the attractions of the village are the many traditional watermills that have been preserved. Also, near the village begins one of the most beautiful gorges of Rethymno, Kourtaliotiko, which ends in the famous palm forest of Prevelis. Spili is located 30km south of Rethymnon, at an altitude of 430m, and is built at the foot of Mount Vorizi.
