Note: The water supply to Winster Fields is from a private borehole which is tested regularly by the local authority in accordance with current regulations and we ask that you are mindful of water usage during your stay. The advice from South Lakeland District Council is that the slightly elevated sulphate level (282mg/l in comparison with a standard of 250mg/l) is naturally occurring and the water is safe for consumption, however guests may wish to use bottled water if they will be mixing baby formula. Please note: If you wish to charge your car there are charging points near by at Booths supermarket car park in Windermere, around 6 miles away.
