This beautiful country property borders the grounds of a 200-year-old Grade II* listed windmill, the landmark that gives the village of Windmill Hill its name. The windmill has been carefully restored with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund, other donors, and a team of dedicated volunteers. It is now an operating windmill, open to the public most Sunday afternoons from Easter to September. House guests can visit the mill at other times by prior arrangement. Entry is free but the Windmill Hill Windmill Trust relies on donations to ensure the continued maintenance of the mill. Windmill Barn has an enclosed garden to enjoy in the summer and has the benefit of private parking.
