The Wayside and Whisky Barn is situated at the base of Black Combe, surrounded by stunning scenery and the Cumbrian coast. The Wayside is situated in Whitbeck at the foot of Black Combe in the idyllic countryside within the south west Lake District National Park. The location sandwiched between the coast and the fells offers a plenty of activities, including horse riding on sandy beach, fell walk directly starting from the Cottage's door steps. South and Central Lakes are also easy to access as well as the western Lakes, and that makes The Wayside a great base to explore wide areas of the Lake District.
