Cardewlees is a row of houses and farm situated between the A595 and the village of Dalston.
Depending on what junction of the motorway you come off from you could approach Camping at Cardewlees from either way. Both are suitable for caravans and motorhomes although junction 44 is probably a little more direct and consists of more main roads rather than windy country lanes.
Junction 42
Leaving the motorway at junction 42, you will need to follow the signs for Dalston. Stay on this road until you find a staggered T junction. At this junction you are wanting to go straight ahead. Continue to follow this road until you driver over a small bridge and you find your self opposite the Bridge End Inn. At this junction take a right and you will find yourself in the village of Daslton. You will go past the church on the right and then almost straight after you will see a turning on the left with a post office situated on the corner. Follow this road round and over the bridge. Continue on this road further and you will come round a sharp bend and then the road will straighten up. Follow this road along and you will see a farm called Hillcrest on the left and the turning for Camping at Cardewlees is directly after this. It is marked by traffic cones [Emoji Removed]. Follow the track to the top, follow it round to the left past our house. Sign-in inside the beige porta cabin and follow the track down onto site.
