These two apartments form the south wing of the manor house and were originally the governess’s residence and the children’s nursery, now beautifully converted into spacious holiday homes. The manor house was built in 1827 for the family which still resides there. Steeped in history, the apartments are named after a romantic couple from an old Cornish love story. Lanwithan Manor is in a peaceful, rural location, yet is just a 5-minute walk into the lovely little riverside town of Lostwithiel, well known as the antiques capital of Cornwall for its range of antique shops and art galleries. Close by are some wonderful places to visit including Restormel Castle and the beautiful National Trust house and gardens of Lanhydrock House. Isolda’s (ref.
