Baileys was established in 1985 by Kevin Bailey who had been working in the village as the manager for another Estate Agency since 1977. A department specialising in Holiday Rentals was created as there is a huge demand for this due to the areas beautiful beaches, Chichester Harbour and the lovely surrounding countryside. A mainline station located at Chichester provides a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 45 minutes and to Gatwick in about 1 hour 5 minutes. An alternative, slightly faster rail service to London is also available from Havant in about 1 hour 20 minutes to London Waterloo.
