Situated in Huntingdon centre, the George Hotel is a historical inn with elegant rooms and a traditional ale bar. Huntingdon Railway Station is a 10-minute walk away. The spacious rooms at The George each have a TV, CD player and free Wi-Fi access. All rooms have a private modern bathroom with a hairdryer, and tea/coffee facilities are provided. The refurbished restaurant serves classic home-cooked British cuisine and full English breakfasts. The bar offers cask ales and fine wines, and features a pretty courtyard terrace. Once the home of Oliver Cromwell’s grandfather, George Hotel is just 200 metres from the Cromwell Museum. There is free on-site parking, and Cambridge is a 25-minute drive away.
