The Wheelhouse is just a couple of miles from the pretty village of Swainby and well placed for visiting the market town of Thirsk and surrounding ‘Herriot Country’. A little further afield is the north east coast with its fishing villages and Whitby where Whitby Abbey stands majestically on the headland above the traditional working harbour.
