Property information

The Space at 8 is a contemporary self-catering ground floor apartment in central Whitstable. Located just off the high street, close to the towns vibrant bars, restaurants & beach. Stylishly designed, the apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, a bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate WC and a private patio/garden with bi-fold doors - everything is on one level. Please note: This property does not accept pets. The property is an apartment in a terraced street so has neighbours either side and in the flat above.

Neighbourhood information

Whitstable is a quirky, arty little town with lots to do. There are some favourite bars and restaurants listed in the guest guide and you will find the latest area guides in the magazine rack, so you can plan your stay. Whitstable is famous for its independent shops and eateries, along with its long shingle beach (the apartment is a 2 minute walk from the beach and shops). Margate and Canterbury are both nearby and are perfect for a day out. Canterbury is accessible by bus or is a 15 minute drive, Margate is about 20 minutes on the train or 25 mins by car. Canterbury is a picture postcard medieval city with a stunning cathedral at its centre. Whether you enjoy wandering around cobbled streets or partaking in some retail therapy, this is the perfect place. Margate is fun for a day out. Home to the Turner Contemporary Gallery, lots of independent shops and a long sandy beach. This is the ideal place to lose a day and pick up some unique purchases.
