Visit the traditional seaside resorts of Cromer 12 miles, and Sheringham 19 miles for fun at the seaside. Wroxham, 12 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park where you can hire a day launch or join a cruise and watch the world drift by and enjoy local wildlife. In fact, you are close to the heart of the broads so boats are readily available. Bacton Woods is close by with miles of woodland trails to explore. Ieal for cycling, picnic opportunities and great for dog walking. Bird watching, golf and fishing all available locally. If you can tear yourself away from the beach you will find a string of other coastal habitats to explore including marshes, sand dunes and pretty quays. Head west to Cromer and discover the unspoilt Edwardian seafront, promenade, pier and Amazonia Zoo. Venture a little further to Blakeney and take a boat trip to see the seals (seasonal) or enjoy a spot of crabbing on the quay.
