Conveniently situated on the A84, and nestled at the western end of Loch Earn, Lochearnhead is a charming village in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It’s a gateway to the Scottish Highlands, offering stunning lochside views, rugged hills, and a tranquil atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway or outdoor adventure. Visitors can enjoy watersports like kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing on Loch Earn, or take scenic walks and hikes up nearby peaks such as Ben Vorlich and Stuc a’ Chroin.
The National Cycle route runs through Lochearnhead so if you are looking for a cycling holiday the Route 7 offers a great family day out with cycle hire available locally.
