The Dairy, forms part of a barn conversion on a working farm and is located on a quiet country lane, just 1 mile from junction 32A on the A55 expressway, making it an ideal location for visiting or working in Flintshire, Chester, Wirral and North Wales.
It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One double bedroom on the ground floor with en-suite shower; one kingsize and a twin-bedded room upstairs, which share a bathroom with full size bath and a separate shower enclosure. All bedrooms have TVs and the lounge has a smart TV.
The Dairy also has Fibre Broadband making it suitable for those wishing to work away from home as an alternative to stopping in a hotel.
For guests with limited mobility the lounge, kitchen and double bedroom with en-suite shower room are located on the ground floor. A portable ramp is available for access into the property and all doorways are wide enough to allow wheelchair access. There is however a step into the en-suite shower cubicle and there are no handrails to the ground floor toilets, so please contact us first to make sure the accommodation is suitable for your needs.
For families with young children there are stairgates fitted at the top and bottom of the staircase, a cot located on the first floor, and a highchair.
Both kitchens are well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle and useful extras including cleaning materials, foil and clingfilm.
There is parking on site with no height restrictions.
There is also a shared garden and patio/ outdoor dining area with communal Barbeque facilities on site which is in addition to the garden and patio/outdoor dining area located directly outside the property.
Whilst situated on a working farm the barn is accessed by a separate entrance to that used by the farm.
We have been welcoming guests to the property since 2011 and love meeting new people and returning guests.
We've tried to include everything in the cottage that we would find useful if we were stopping there and enjoy putting together some welcome goodies for your arrival.
We are located on the North Wales border 1 mile from the A55 making it easy to access North Wales, Chester, Liverpool and the Wirral.
Up the North Wales Coast there are many activities to participate in. There are lovely beaches (Talacre, Prestayn, Colwyn Bay & llandudno), Farm Parks (Greenacres, Greenfield valley, Manorfon, Bodafon), beautiful countryside for walking (Wepre park, Halkyn Mountain, Loggerheads, Moel Famau, Snowdonian national park, Betwys-Y-Coed), The Welsh Mountain Zoo, Train rides (Rhyl minature train, Festiniog railway), Castles (Flint, Gwyrch, Conway, Caernarfon) and zip World are just a few activities to name.
Chester is only 16 miles/20 minutes' drive away and is a beautiful city to visit with its world-famous zoo, Roman walls and river. In the summer the Theatre screen films outdoor. There are also many places to eat and drink here. On the outskirts there's Chester Ice cream farm and a Candle Factory and lots of lovely villages.
The Wirral (which has lovely beaches, such as in West Kirby and New Brighton) and Liverpool are located about a 30-minute drive away. There are plenty of things to do here including visiting the Beatles story, museums, M & S Arena, shopping and Anfield, the home of Liverpool Football club. You could also take a Ferry across the Mersey.
Cheshire Oaks Outlet shopping park is also located approximately 15/20 minutes' drive away which is very popular with those who love shopping.
