It is in the heart of the north Yorkshire Dales, a 5-minute drive from the market town of Settle. Stainforth is home to St Peter’s Church, just 5 minutes’ walk from The Craven Heifer at Stainforth. The village is 1 mile south of Stainforth Force Waterfall, where the River Ribble falls over limestone edges into a deep pool. Settle Railway Station is a 5-minute drive from the country pub.
