Access to the Cove is down an unmade road. It can be bumpy in places and is not suitable for very low slung cars, eg sports cars. It is in use everyday by many normal cars and does not need a 4 x 4, just slow, careful driving. The speed limit is 10mph. The Cove is annex of Singing Sand on Sandy Lane. It is has a small, fully fenced garden area. Ideal for dogs. There is an outdoor sitting area and a Barbecue with a hob. The garden area gets morning sun, and is a great place to sit in summer evenings as its shaded from the sun. The Kitchenette has an air fryer, if you have not used one before they are incredibly versatile and much faster to use than a conventional oven. There is a good range of chopping boards, knives and implements to enjoy creating a meal and a small book of air fryer recipes to try out. The bedroom has a double bed with two touch lamps. An open hanging rail with clothes hangers and two large drawers under the bed for additional storage. The apartment has been rendered with lime plaster and wood flooring. There is in wall heating (you can't see it) This is run by an air source heat pump and controlled by thermostats. If you leave a window open in the window, it can take a while to warm up again, due to the nature of the heating, please make sure to fully close the windows. The apartment is triple glazed and very well insulated. In the summer the heating can be reversed to cooling, this acts as air conditioning if it gets very hot outside.

Just twenty minutes walk from Three Cliffs bay beach, this peaceful retreat is half a mile down an unmade track. Dark skies, coastal paths, sand dunes, woods and wild moors all on the doorstep. Sandy lane is part of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of Gower, with very low impact building and no street lights or tarmac, just nature surrounding every house, it is a unique place to stay. Everything you could need for a few days is within a twenty minute walk. It’s the ideal base for keen walkers. Due to the unmade road, it is not suitable for very low slung cars. eg sports cars. It is not suitable for people with mobility issues as there are no even surfaces on the track or surrounding area
