I (Jill) semi retired in 2023 and opened The Studio by Hip Haus an adult only dog friendly place to stay, also in Humberston but in a residential area. I am loving the new pace of life. I have been married to Lee for 36 years and we have 1 fur baby, Teddie the Hip Haus dog, a wire fox terrier. We love music, art, travel and food.

The Fitties is a unique place initially created for the recouperation of soldiers after World War1. It is a conservation site and is situation on the coast, a stones throw from the beach and the Humber Yacht club, Tetney Marshes rich in birdlife. Public transport into Cleethorpes is regular and if you are up for a walk you can walk all along the beach, boating lake and promenade into Cleethorpes. Stop at the Signal box inn and the Tap house for a cheeky tipple on the way there or back (or and), all dog friendly.
