The Bothy Self Catering Cottage is located at Gallin Farm, Glen Lyon. Gallin Farm is a working farm with highland cattle, highland ponies and sheep. Sleeping six people in 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms can be made up as twins or superkings – please specify your requirements at time of booking. The third bedroom has a double bed. A travel cot can be provided on request. The accommodation is fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Accommodation consists of a lounge/dining area with wood burning stove (logs provided), Freeview TV and WiFi. Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided. There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Bathroom with feature window and separate shower room. There is adequate external parking. The Bothy has access to a Drying Room for outdoor clothing.

The Bothy is located on Meggernie Estate - set in the Longest, Loneliest and Loveliest glen of Highland Perthshire. The Estate extends to some 37,000 acres on which there is an active farming operation, with 3,500 acres of forestry as well as very significant sporting operations including red deer stalking, rough shooting, loch fishing and salmon fishing on the River Lyon. There are an abundance of marked walking routes ~ within easy reach, as well as the more challenging hills and Munros.
