The ArtWorks is in a quiet location, very close to the town centre, so everything, the station, the sea, Alexandra Park, the Country Park, the shops, restaurants, theatres, are all within a few minutes walk. Free parking is available a short walk away. The house was built in 1862 and is quite quirky, but contemporary. There is a private bathroom right next door to the bedroom.
I am a professional artist, with my studio at home, so the house is full of original paintings. Hastings is a very creative and interesting town, with a significant history and architecture spanning the last 1000 years. I am very happy to provide maps and ideas for where to visit.
Stonefield Road is a quiet Victorian street, very close to all amenities in the town. There are nice pubs, including a micro brewery, a couple of minutes walk away, and the town centre and Old Town with it’s historic Tudor houses and castle, and a wealth of character pubs and restaurants, 10 minutes walk over the beautiful West Hill, where there are panoramic views of the town and coast.
