In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan, Signature Collection by Eight Continents offers elegant accommodation and high-quality dining. With free parking and WiFi, this hotel is around 20 miles from Oban, where ferries depart to the Isle of Mull. Each room has a flat-screen TV, alarm clock, telephone and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite bathroom with a bath, and a hairdryer, toiletries and bathrobes. The hotel has fine views of the surrounding mountains, and some rooms look out over the loch and gardens. Originally a cattle drover’s inn, this Highland hotel lies just over 30 miles from the pretty town of Inveraray and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
