Located near Shaftesbury in Dorset, Little Honeysuckle is a welcoming and peaceful hideaway in an idyllic countryside setting - the perfect stylish and comfortable retreat for two, in which to relax, unwind and recharge.

Information correct at the time of writing. Well worth a visit is the small yet attractive town of Shaftesbury with a fascinating history going back to Saxon times. The town is the home of the famous Gold Hill (made famous by the “Hovis” advert) and has magnificent views over Thomas Hardy’s Blackmore Vale. A short drive away is the town of Wimborne with its famous minster, and where you will find numerous foodie delights in its cafes, pubs and fine restaurants. The weekend brings a popular market where you can source local produce from regional suppliers including butchers, bakers, a fishmonger, fruit stalls and cheese stands. The market town of Blandford is within easy reach and offers a selection of shops, supermarkets and cafes. There are numerous walks from the doorstep with a network of well signed footpaths, bridleways and byways to explore. Garden lovers and history seekers will be in their element with many historic and National Trust properties nearby including Kingston Lacy and Stourhead Set in the outstanding landscape of Cranborne Chase, the beautifully designed gardens of Larmer Tree are not to be missed. Salisbury, the famous mediaeval cathedral city, lies just a short car journey away and is full of history along with its beautiful cathedral which is home to the best preserved copy of the Magna Carta. It also hosts a large market on Saturdays. The nearest beaches are at Bournemouth and Poole, just over a half an hours drive away. Poole Harbour has excellent sailing, and is home to the world famous Sandbanks. A little further afield, you can explore the Isle of Purbeck and stunning Jurassic coastline.
