A beautiful old oak beamed little house in the heart of The Citadel in the ancient town of Rye. The house is located down a little private twitten off the famous Church Square in the center of Rye surrounded by The beautiful St Mary’s Church. The Ypres Castle and Gun gardens are less than a minute walk away. The property is over 3 floors and offers ancient old beams the house was reportedly built in 1412! There is a lovely old open fire and 2 bedrooms the house can sleep up to 4 people. You really feel like you have been transformed back to another time, surrounded by peaceful history. Please note like many old houses in Rye the property does have two steep stair cases to get to the bedrooms but there are grip rails in place to make it safe. Also please note you have to go through the master bedroom to access up to the top floor bedroom. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There is 24 hour parking available nearby that is only a couple of pounds for 24 hours. Emma grew up in Rye and went to school there and absolutely loves the ambience of the medieval town.

Rye is simply beautiful and ancient cinque port with multiple medieval buildings and cobbled streets. The spooky Mermaid Inn is minutes away. There are many fantastic restaurant's, bars and coffee shops to suit all tastes.
