There are plenty of local shops, mini markets,cafes and restaurants on Ramshill Road which is only 100 yards. Further afield places to visit include Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors, York with its many historic sights along with other days out including Flamingo Land, Dalby Forest, Eden Camp and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. There are also several golf courses within easy reach. The lovely church of St Martin's opposite offers a delightful menu from coffee and cakes to lite bites.
