Ideal for couples or a small family, Squirrels Nest can be found in a lovely rural location in the village of Rookley, with a network of wonderful countryside walks and bike rides available to explore straight from its door. This well presented, holiday home which sits alongside the owner’s main residence is dog friendly and can accommodate up to three guests, the accommodation comprises of one spacious and beautifully sunny bedroom with en-suite shower-room, It features a fully fitted kitchen, large sitting room with log burner and a private decking area with bike shed to its rear. The bedroom with its fantastically comfortable super king bed, can be offered as two singles on request. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine The sitting room has a dining table to seat four, a large sofa and a cosy log burning stove. A single sofa bed is available for a third person staying if required. Externally you have a spacious driveway with parking available right outside your front door, whilst to the rear you have a private decking area with bike shed.

Rookley is a beautiful village conveniently located five kilometres south of Newport near the centre of the island. It has a country park on the site of the last working Isle of Wight brickworks. There is a swimming pool and pub at the country park and another pub , the “Chequers Inn ”, a short distance from the village. The area is well served by buses to both Newport and the nearby pretty, coastal town of Ventnor.
