Since acquiring the guest house name 'Spurwing', which is the largest species of goose in the world and lives in wetlands throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, and personally having an interest in British habitat and wildlife, we have named our guest rooms after the three star species of birds Avocet, Dartford Warbler and Spoonbill which can be seen at various times of the year at the stunning RSPB Arne nature reserve, only six miles away.
Our guest house is 5 minutes walk away from the Wareham train station, which has regular trains to London Waterloo, Bournemouth, Southampton and Weymouth, making it an ideal base to explore and sight see using public transport.
