Splatt Barn in Porlock is beautiful, thatched country cottage, situated on the outskirts of the village of Porlock. Splatt Barn enjoys uninterrupted views across the marshes to Porlock Bay and is an easy walk into Porlock with pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. Downstairs there is a large kitchen/dining room with adjoining utility room plus a conservatory to admire the garden from. The large sitting room has a wood-burner for topping up the heat on those cooler evenings. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and shower. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a balcony to make the most of the fabulous sea views towards Hurlstone Point. The second bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room. There is a second upstairs bathroom next to the master bedroom. The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in total (sorry, no children under 11 years of age). Porlock is a wonderful working Exmoor village and boasts three pubs, two grocery shops, a traditional local butcher, chemist, cash machine, hardware shop, visitor centre, several art galleries and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms.
