This first floor, spacious flat is located within Winterton Hall and is the perfect place for a holiday base to explore our beautiful, ancient fishing village, without an amusement arcade in sight. We are so very lucky here to have the beautiful dunes which are a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Winterton Dunes Nature reserve is a bird-watchers delight and a haven for wildlife with tern and seal colonies in residence, along with the rare Natterjack toad. Our beautiful, wide, sandy beach is approximately a 8/10 minute walk from the flat. Winterton is ideal for our doggie friends too, just make sure that they stay away from the seals and other wildlife please. The village itself benefits from having 'The Fisherman's Return' pub, the Fish & Chip Shop, 'Poppy's' Tea Shop, Post Office & General Stores and we are in easy reach of Great Yarmouth, which is approximately 8 miles and 19 miles from Norwich. You can explore many of the local and nearby sites such as The Broads, Horsey Windpump, Horsey seal colony, Hickling Broad, museums in Great Yarmouth and many sights in Norwich, to name just a few.
