In addition to a post office, a general store, a pub, and the Churchinford Community Hall, the village also has a few more amenities. An enjoyable day may be had by visiting Otterhead Lakes, a well-maintained nature reserve that provides a safe haven for the local flora and fauna; visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls through the preserve while taking in the picturesque vistas of the lake.
