‘Pyes Granary’ has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Built in 1751, the Granary is an original farm building which shares the land of our family home and our second holiday property called ‘Little Pyes’ also listed for hire on this site. Ground floor consisting of two bedrooms, one with a king bed and a travel cot if required and the second bedroom with a choice of a king bed or twin beds ( please advise your preference). A separate bathroom serves both bedrooms. Stairs to first floor which is all open plan comprising kitchen area with oven and hob, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, kettle and well stocked cupboards for your dining and cooking needs. Dining table with chairs. High chair and stair gate if needed. Lounge area has a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, smart tv. French doors open to the exterior staircase which leads to the garden. Pyes Granary guests have their own separate garden to enjoy alfresco dining during the warmer months and there is convenient free parking adjacent to the property. The property is suitable for a maximum of four guests plus a travel cot.
We enjoy providing our guests with the best experience possible and we look forward to welcoming you soon. We welcome you personally when possible and you will self check in on arrival.
The property is set in a beautiful countryside location positioned on the outskirts of the village of Crowhurst which has a convenient train station (London-Hastings line) seven minutes walk via the footpath. Close to our nearest 1066 historical town of Battle with all amenities and the coastal towns of Bexhill, St Leonards-on-sea and Hastings and Rye. Countryside walks include our local ‘Fore wood’ RSPB nature reserve and ancient woodland. Visit Battle Abbey, Hastings Smugglers adventure, Hastings castle, Bodiam castle, Camber sands, Pashley Manor gardens, Great Dixter house and gardens, Alexandra Park, Bodiam boating station, Sovereign Harbour boat rides with tours of the Seven Sisters cliffs. Hastings country park. Eat at The Plough Inn here in Crowhurst open Wednesdays to Sunday, La Bella Vista Italian in St Leonards, The Wild Mushroom at Westfield, Webbs Rock a Nore fish restaurant in Hastings, Raffinny Wine Estate at Alfriston, The Chequers Inn Battle, White Hart at Netherfield, Pebbles on the beach Bexhill, The Sackville Bistro Bexhill
