Thorabella Farm Straw Bale Cabins are set on a working farm surrounded by stunning views in all directions. Wake up in the morning to the sight of animals including, chickens, ducks, sheep, pigs, goats, wallabies and even Water Buffalo. There is a kid’s play park and games room for entertainment so the adults can enjoy a peaceful stay while the kids are fully entertained or join in all the fun. Enjoy the evening sunsets and gaze at the stars in a tranquil setting. The Straw bale cabins are very rustic and have an open plan layout consisting of a kitchen/dining area with an electric panel heater, double bed and bunk bed. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin with bed linen and bath towels included. One large bag of wood is supplied per visit(for Fire pit) but we have an on-site Honesty Shack which sells all produce from the farm – Variety of meat, seasonal veg, honey from our bees, apple juice, charcoal and logs The door opens to a large stone chipped area fully fenced off for your furry friends and has a picnic bench and a BBQ/ fire pit Guest access – free parking on the premises is approximately 30-80m away with stone chipped paths leading to the cabins with 2 or 3 steps up into the cabins. In snowy weather you may need to park at the end of the drive and walk to the cabins (5-10min walk)

Ollie, Nikki and their 2 kids Emilija and Tobias own a 40 acre farm in Dallas Morayshire where we primarily farm water buffalo along with some highland cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, bees, wallabies, rabbits and poultry. We bought the farm to live a self sufficient lifestyle.
