Located in North Cornwall is Crackington Haven, having begun as a small port importing limestone, coal and exporting slate from small local quarries to what it is now, a beautiful small coastal village known for its geology culture and fascinating wildlife. Travel only a short distance to High Cliff, Cornwall’s Highest cliff at 223 metres high and take in this famous monument.
Only a short drive away is St Nectan’s Waterfall, a sixty-foot natural waterfall which is definitely worth a visit, two additional waterfalls and a stunning woodland walk can also be explored here. Why not take a dip in the St Nectan’s kieve it is great for swimming, you will also be able to enjoy a coffee and a delicious bite to eat in the on-site café.
Fancy a day at the beach? Why not visit Crackington Haven Beach, a hidden gem in Cornwall. This beach is lifeguarded during the summer thus you can relax with ease. Huge cliffs peer over shingle cove making it the perfect spot for a fun-filled family day. If you happen to visit during the winter your furry friends are allowed on the beach during off-peak times as well.
Only a short drive away you will find Bude Segway, this is a great activity that the whole family will enjoy! You will also find a climbing wall, mobile cave surf hires and axe throwing if you didn’t fancy hopping on a segway, there is plenty for all to enjoy.
