Tenby's championship golf club, oldest in Wales, lies alongside the 1.5 mile popular south beach. The bowling club is open all year round. Castle Hill in Tenby is also the location for the museum, lifeboat station and Prince Albert statue (only one in the country) all of which are popular attractions for locals and visitors alike. Nearby is the harbour, once with a thriving fishing industry, but now given over to pleasure boating, including trips to monastic Caldey island.
