You are welcome to arrive in the Pottery on either Saturday or Sunday. Your designated parking space is less than 20 yards from the front door. The Pottery is a whole separate one-bedroom home nestled in half an acre of mature sub-tropical gardens. We offer a very spacious patio and covered BBQ area - equipped with gas BBQ and heaters. With the heaters on, sunny days or rainy spells, you can always have fun outside. Well stocked cottage garden surrounds the property. There is something blooming all year round. Penzance is less than 2 miles away, Newlyn less than 1 mile. In Newlyn you can buy fish directly from the fishmongers. There are small bakeries and independent butchers and a cheese shop. You can find a variety of other small artisan shops and independent art galleries. The Pottery has a dedicated private parking just for you.
We like to keep the garden well stocked, after all, enjoying the outside is what Cornwall is all about. If you come in February you may see the first UK daffodils, if you come in October you may have a taste of our apples. There is something to see or appreciate in any of the months in between.
Locally, you can enjoy summer performances in the Minack Theatre, or all St Ives has to offer - including the local Tate gallery. There are a myriad of small local independent art galleries, surfing lessons at Sennen, boating scenic trips, or deep sea fishing.
