Stay in a private suite in a converted 170 year old mill in Garndolbenmaen, North Wales. Situated only a few miles from Porthmadog, Criccieth and the Llyn Peninsula and with direct access onto the Snowdonia National Park, you will be ideally placed to make the most of the natural wonders of the rather wild county of Gwynedd.
Nant Heddwch (the name of the house), has a long history in North Wales. Starting as a mill in the early 19th Century, it then became the village post office and cooperative, before transforming into a rocking club(!) and four star restaurant.
For the active, Nant Heddwch is perfect. With stunning walks straight into Snowdonia National Park, cycle routes just out side and close proximity to the sea, there will be much to get your heart going.
For those wishing to rest, your room has is own seated lounge, incredible sunset light streaming through its windows and a restorative silence capable of soothing the soul. The famous Black Sands beach is also less than ten minutes drive away.
Welcome to Nant Heddwch. This is our newly refurbished home and part time retreat centre.
We have one simple rule, shoes are to be left at the front door so no mud or dirt is brought into the suite.
With its massive rooms and thick stone walls you are sure to get a good peaceful night sleep.
We have decent comfortable beds and of course en-suite bathroom.
We don't provide breakfast but you have a full kitchen in the apartment.
Being in the National Park we don't have shops or restaurants in the village.
We do have many restaurants just a few miles away in Tremadog, Porthmadog and Criccieth.
We can recommend a few but they will need booking ahead of your visit in peak season as they can get booked up.
