Nestled between Dartmoor & the dramatic North Devon coastline, the Lodge at Midhaven is your self-catering sanctuary for exploring Devon & Cornwall. Relax with family, in this spacious 4 bedroom lodge, enjoying the beautiful Devon sunrises and sunsets. The lodge sits at the edge of a private meadow, where you can watch local wildlife, or take the dog for a walk. With the local pub and the beautiful Dunsland National trust park both within walking distance, an ideal location for everyone!

We work from home, so will usually be available within a couple of hours notice should you have any questions or need any help. We are more than happy to tell you our favourite places to visit, during your holiday!

The Lodge at Midhaven, is located in a little hamlet called Brandis Corner. From the door, there are lots of local walks available and green lanes to explore. Just a couple of minutes walk from the Lodge, is the beautiful and tranquil National Trust parkland, Dunsland. Our local pub, The Bickford Arms, is half a mile away. In the local town of Holsworthy, you will find plenty of amenities, including Waitrose, Co-op, a petrol station, children's play park and local pubs. Up the road from the Lodge, is the pretty little village of Shebbear with the Devil Stone Inn, for home-cooked food. The fish & chip van comes to the village every Wednesday. We are only 14 miles from Bude, North Cornwall's seaside town with a sea pool and plenty of family-friendly beaches and lots of restaurants & cafes to enjoy. The pretty, little North Devon villages of Clovelly, Appledore and Instow are a short-drive away. The Lodge at Midhaven makes for an ideal base, for exploring and walking Dartmoor. A car is advisable, as public transport is limited. Plentiful private parking is available. There are charging spots for electric cars available at the local pub, only half a mile from the Lodge.
