Our self-catering holiday apartment is in Big Sand, near Gairloch, Wester Ross, Highland Scotland. The property is on the north-west coast of Scotland, one and a half hours by car from the Highland capital of Inverness. The property has views over the sea to Skye and vistas that include the Torridon and Cuillin mountain ranges. The area is ideal for relaxing or for taking part in a number of outdoor activities. Mountain biking, walking, climbing, kayaking are all popular and equipment and guides are available in the area. There are opportunities to go on marine excursions to see local wildlife and you can visit artists' galleries, the local Heritage Museum and the National Trust for Scotland garden at Inverewe. There are several restaurants and cafes in the area and a number of fabulous beaches. Sand beach is a few minutes walk from the apartment.
