Little Weech offers newly refurbished accommodation utilising part of the original servants quarters of the main historical residence of Weech House, originally built in 1790. Violet Cavendish-Bentick, the Queen Mum’s Aunt was once the owner of Weech House and the Queen Mum visited on several occasions as did our present Queen and her sister Margaret. Accommodation Sleeps up to 4, but please note if the sofa bed is required, the host needs to be notified in advance to provide extra bedding and a supllement charge is applied (please select the extra bed option at checkout). 1 double bedroom with ensuite bathroom consisting of bath, basin and toilet. Lounge, kitchenette with double sofa bed and additional separate shower room and toilet. Central heating, double glazed, newly refurbished, self catering. Convenient parking, own front door leading to spacious covered area which could be used to store bicycles, surf boards etc. Three small steps to entrance door which opens into to main living area. Conveniently situated for Dawlish centre with shops, restaurants and pubs, the town beach, railway and buses all being approximately 10 minutes walk from the house. The hospital and doctors surgery are also only 10 minutes walk from the house.
DAWLISH Dawlish is set on the edge of Devon's beautiful rolling countryside as it meets the impressive cliffs of the sandstone coastline. At the heart of this popular seaside town is an attractive park with colourful flower beds and tall palms providing the perfect setting for the brook that cascades over a series of waterfalls towards the sea. This is also home to the famous Black Swans. There are three beaches - Boat Cove, Coryton Cove and the Town Beach which stretches all the way to the award winning beach of Dawlish Warren. DAWLISH WARREN Dawlish Warren prides itself on being one of South Devon's top family beaches boasting a large sandy beach ideal for swimming and sand castle building. With the Exe Estuary on one side and the sea on the other, Dawlish warren is home to distinctive sand dunes and over 500 acres of nature reserve. Dawlish and the Warren are situated on Brunel's stunning South Devon Coast Railway, one the most scenic railway journeys in the world.
