This historic, beautiful house sits right on the river Ouse with the river running across the front of the whole property. It has amazing from the main garden where you can sit, relax and picknick. The views can also be seen from all the windows in the flat. There are 2 gardens to your use, the smaller is a more secluded area right outside the front door. The site is home to the last bottle shaped kiln in the country, built around 1817.
This flat is in the loft space and is professionally clean before each guest but is spacious and comfortable. There is a road nearby so earbuds are provided for guests that like to hear absolutely no noise at night.
There are many fantastic walking routes nearby as well as cycle paths to Lewes and to Newhaven which then take you all the way along the seafront and access to the South Downs Way. The beautiful town of Lewes is very close as well as Brighton a short drive away. There are also about 14 castles with about an hours drive and many other fantastic places to visit locally!
