My mother and I live in Dartmoor National Park, at Longlands. My mother lives next door, and together (along with our 4 dogs) we manage our three holiday cottages. While this is our first Airbnb in the UK, for years we have run a bed and breakfast and wedding venue in the USA, and love welcoming everyone to come and stay.

Property information

Based in the quaint hilltop village of Hennock, near Bovey Tracey, the cottages are full of all the character you might expect of a building over 500 years old, including wonky floors, multiple levels and quirky original features. Luxuriously renovated in 2021, they are cosy and warm, have superfast wifi throughout, smart TV’s in every room, including every bedroom, and are a stone’s throw from the friendly village pub, with real ales and great home-cooked pub food.

Neighbourhood information

Hennock is a small Village situated 600 feet above sea level on the south side of the beautiful Teign Valley in Devon, England, it is reputed to have one of the best views in Devon. Owing to the village being constructed in a kilometre long ribbon along the contour line almost every house in the village has a view over the valley below. It has a great local pub less than 150 yards away (with yummy food and real ale), and great walking around the moors.
