Groes Lwyd is a charming detached farmhouse in the hamlet of Pencoed near to Corwen in North Wales. the cottage can sleep eight people in four bedrooms comprising three king-size doubles (one with en-suite facilities) and one twin, as well as a family bathroom and a ground floor cloakroom. The cottage also contains a kitchen with dining area, utility, sitting room with woodburning stove and a second sitting room. To the outside of the property is off road parking for four cars and front, side and rear lawned gardens with patio, furniture and barbecue. Groes Lwyd is a lovely cottage, located in stunning countryside, suitable for a great holiday at any time of the year. Two well-behaved dogs welcome charged at 20 each per stay. if you cannot add pets/pay for the supplement when making your booking, please contact Sykes after making your booking to arrange pet additions. Logs for the hot tub can be purchased from the owners for 5 per bag or alternatively you can book a service which offers to fill the hot tub; light the fire and heat the water to the required temperature for 40 per use of the hot tub. Each fill and heat up to the perfect temperature takes approximately two and a half hours but can take a little longer in the colder winter months. This property accepts a maximum of 8 guests including note: the socket located to the front of the property can be used to charge electric cars, this is a standard 13amp socket. Adapters may be required. Please note the owner charges 10.00 per car per charge, payable direct to the owners.

The tiny hamlet of Pencoed is situated between the towns of Corwen and Ruthin. Ruthin is a picturesque town, with attractive half-timbered buildings. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House, Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on the doorstep in this area.
