With stunning views of the South Downs outside and all the creature comforts inside, our shepherds hut is the perfect rural retreat for two. Our bespoke Nightingale Hut is luxurious and comfortable, offering an opportunity to relax and unwind. The shepherds hut is situated in a secluded spot on our working farm with our two glamping pods. There is plenty of outside space to enjoy the tranquil rural surroundings and a firepit to enjoy some alfresco dining and stargazing at night. The Shepherds Hut has an en-suite bathroom, with toilet and shower. There is also a small kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge, sink and kitchen utensils. There is a lovely wood burning stove to keep the Shepherds Hut super cosy on those colder nights. There is a private outdoor space to sit and enjoy the wonderful views.
We are situated in a quiet village in the South Downs, only a 20 mins drive to the vibrant city of Brighton. We have wonderful views of the South Downs and are a short (uphill) walk to the South Downs Way. We also have wonderful, flatter walks from us. We are a 30 minute drive to Devils Dyke, which is a National trust site, offering stunning views of Sussex and beyond. We are in the South Downs Dark Skies reserve which is perfect to stargazing. There are lots of local villages to explore, a short drive away, including Steyning and Henfield. We are a short walk from the local Shepherd & Dog pub and also The Royal Oak pub and Tottington Manor a slightly longer walk or short drive.
