Your apartments electricity is provided by a pre payment meter and your host will ensure you have a minimum of 5 pounds (GBP) (Summer) and 10 pounds (GBP) (Winter) credit per nights stay on your arrival. You can easily top this up, if needed, at the local PayZone point located at the Keystore corner shop directly opposite the apartment.

Kirkcudbright is a beautiful harbour town with a fishing fleet still operating out of the harbour. It is know as the artists town due to its stunning scenery and lighting. The modern Kirkcudbright is dynamic, progressive and exciting. The can do attitude of the townsfolk has made the town a highly desirable place to visit. During July & August every Thursday night, weather permitting, there is a Scottish festivities evening of entertainment in the harbour square car park, with the Kirkcudbright District Pipe band playing a stirring set and lots of games and entertainment for all the family, an absolute must.
There are plenty of eateries catering to all taste within walking distance of the apartment.
Kirkcudbright can be accessed by various buses running from Dumfries where you will also find the nearest train station.
